Submission and Acceptance of Poster Proposals

In order to collaborate in the dissemination of the specialization of the Ourense campus as a Water Campus and to provide visibilityto the results of projects or research work on topics related to water and water resources, posters can be prepared and exhibited in the area around the Main Auditorium (Aula Magna). These posters may include content developed by researchers or research teams, even if they do not fit the thematic axes of the Congress and are fare from legal disciplines.

Those responsible for projects funded by international, state, regional or provincial calls may request their project’s inclusion in the Congress from the organizing committee. To do so, they will submit, along with researchers who wish to participate, their poster proposal by June 30, 2024. The organizing committee will evaluate these proposals and duly communicate their acceptance.

Technical Specifications

Please consider the following information for the preparation of your poster:

  • Poster dimensions should not exceed 90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
  • Place the title and authors of the poster at the top, as the abstract bmitted.
  • Texts, illustrations, etc., should be adequately highlighted to be read from a distance of two meters (six feet).
  • Adhesive tape or other technical materials will be available for poster climb. Staff will also be available to assist you.

On September 20, you will receive an email with a number indicating the location where you should place your poster.

  • Please refer to the assigned poster number and board assigned
  • Please use the board with the same number as assigned to your poster

Publication Possibility

REDAS Magazine
The posters that are accepted may, if their authors wish, be published as informative material in the Journal of Law, Water and Sustainability – REDAS (ISSN: 2444-9571).

REDAS is an electronic publication with legal content and an annual periodicity specialized in water, environment and sustainable development, which is published by the Faculty of Law of the University of Vigo (Ourense University Campus) and whose contents are aimed at people interested in these subjects coming from both the academic and professional fields. Most of its content is, therefore, legal, but there is also space for publications on water and sustainability from other academic fields that may directly or indirectly have scientific or informative interest in the legal context. In issue 7 of REDAS the posters from various academic fields accepted at the IV International Water Congress were published.

Specifications for the publication:

  • Format: PDF
  • Language: REDAS content is published in Spanish; For this reason, posters written in other languages ​​must be translated by their authors; This translated version, if its authors so wish, may be additionally accompanied by the original linguistic version, which would also be published.

The posters that are accepted may, if their authors wish, be published as informative material in the LAND Magazine (ISSN: 2073-445X).

LAND is an academic journal with geographical content, published biannually, specialized in topics of urban planning, environment and sustainable territorial development. This publication is aimed at researchers, professionals and students interested in these subjects.

This magazine has a multidisciplinary approach, so its contents cover a wide range of topics related to geography, urban planning and sustainability. Although its main core focuses on research and academic studies, popular articles, technical reports and critical reviews of relevant literature are also included.
